Have you ever tried playing, just after you’ve made a cash withdrawal from one of the poker sites you are playing at?
Well i did, just a small sum, but even so my play has become extremely bad(or have i just been unlucky?)
How can this “bad luck” be avoided after a withdrawal?….
there’s a few things that may work:
not playing at all for a while
playing extremely tight
or just withdrawing the total sum.
Can’t reallt tell what works best until next withdrawal, but im pretty sure im not the only one having this problem!

Double up sngs are nice for building stacks or just making a few bucks from.
Start off easy, and try avoid going all in even with high pairs as this is the phase off the game where you can get called with anything. I doesnt know how many times ive lost with a high pair in the first few hands, against a donk calling with absolute trash.
Let a few players get knocked out, while trying to avoid to big losses to your stack.
Dont play to many drawing hands, and if you do you should try avoid going all in unless nuts, or having a damn lot of outs.
dont pick fights with bigstacks, unless absolutely necessary and if you do expect to be pushed around.
When you are i position (sb or button) you can try to do some steals from the smallstacks.

Ok, at least i had the patience to play a tourney properly without tilting halfway trough.
It even paid off too some degree, winning $100 for a 3 rd place might not be so much, its just nice to know that one can make it into the top.
Even made it to 24 place in another tourney day after where top 40 got paid, not high prizes but i was smallstacked almost through the whole tourney, and wasnt even getting any good cards.
But of course tournaments are a total different game from limit cash games, and even double up sngs.

Yeah i know it has been a long time since ive written anything, ok so im a lazy bastard…
Ofcourse there has been holidays and such, but ive anyway been playing poker.
So that means i probably should kept up to date with writing here.
Actually my results for one of the sites i play at has been horrible for the last week or so…
I really have no idea of how i managed to play myself from a bankroll of 90€ or so down to 1€, ive mostly been playing 0,05€/0,10€ limit holdem, and then som occasional 2,5€ double ups… Even with some bad downswings my play must have been horrible.

For some reason i decided to try out poker software, not sure why.
For a long while i didnt think i would be using any poker software, but for analyzing ones own games, and looking up stats for other players these kinds of tools will be usefull.
There are 3 programs that i know of and which has been around a while.
They are Poker Office, Poker Tracker and Holdem Manager.
I guess theres dozen other programs as well
Im using a trial version of Poker Tracker 3 now, and think its quite ok.
Of course there are a few limitations since its just a 60 days trial version, but i do actully consider buying it.Holdem Manager, has a 15 day trial which i will test out soon.
Poker Office 5 costs $99/yr , but you can get it for free if you sign up at a pokersite from the list at their site.
Holdem Managers small stakes version costs $55, and can also be aquired for free if you want to sign up for a pokersite from the list at their site.
Poker Tracker 3 costs $89.99, but they doesnt have the possibilty for getting it for free.

Been a while since ive written anything now, but anyone who thinks ive quit playing poker is wrong.
Mostly ive been playing double up sngs, and of course as always when ive played too many of those I wind up losing a few because i lose my focus.
Ive always been trying out a few of the casino games a lot gaming sites offers, i expect it has had a bad influence on my poker game. But still they it is kind of hypnotice to watch the wheel spin, while one waits for the really big prize.

After some good play today i managed to double my bankroll(way too small) at one of the sites i play,
with playing a mix of double up sngs and limit cashgames.
Mostly i played 0.25/0.50 euro and 2.50 euro buyin sngs.

Today i tried a 2k gp, with $3.30 buy in, about 1000 people had joined, played tight and hoped to get some hands but ofcourse no hands came.
Still managing to have a stack of 1500 chips which was the same as the initial stack, when we were about halfway through.
Finally i get a hand, JJ, and i raises All in and some donkey calls with QJ suited, hits the Q on the flop and soon its all over.

Playing late at night probably isnt the wisest to do in poker,
waking up by the sound of ones cards being folded at river because someone made a donkey bet and seeing one has top pair witch actually is the best hand isnt too funny.
Actually one shouldnt be playing when tired at all, but then again who follows those advises?

Rakeback is nice to have when you’ve played a lot of hands, most of my rakeback deals for the sites ive got any deals is around 30% which is ok. Too have very good rakeback deals one probably would need to be a prop player.
Some sites show you how much you’ve earned in rakeback, while others doesnt.
At some of the sites i play there even are requirement to when one gets rakeback, so one much watch the requirments to be sure to get a few $.
